While we were promised a new and improved version of Apple's Siri in 2026, it seems like we'll have to wait till 2027 for some advanced features.

A new report claims that Apple is stil struggling with Siri 2.0 and may have delayed launching the voice assistant overhaul again

Mark Gurman, Bloomberg’s Apple scoops guy, says the development of the latest version of Siri is not looking good in tests. It’s apparently going badly enough that Apple will release only a partial version when the updated voice assistant debuts in the next version of iOS.

Macworld Apple just can’t seem to get its new Siri off the ground. A new report from Mark Gurman at Bloomberg says that testing of the big Siri overhaul due in iOS 26.4 (soon to enter beta, with a release planned for March) will instead be spread out over the rest of the year.
